The Whole Health Organization (WHO)
has a complete listing of health legislation worldwide which is broader than specific acupuncture and Oriental medicine laws and regulations. However, it is still necessary for acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Practitioners to know these for their country because many of the laws pertain to national, state or provincial regulations and they are ones that apply to ALL health practitioners.

FAOMRA is the Federation of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Regulatory Agencies in the United States which provides coordination and exchange of information between the regulatory agencies in the US. They are also interested in assessing reciprocal accreditation standards and other mutually beneficial exchanges. email
