The Art of Practice Management for Alternative Health Care Practices (includes complementary and integrative health care practices). The Art of PM delves deeply into the “Ethics of Practice,” addresses the myriad of risks in health care practices and gives you specific step by step ways to build in safe practice communications, policies and procedures of practice management as it relates to acupuncture and Oriental medicine, as well as general health care practice. It does not develop the technical aspects of your specialized field in the treatment itself, so it is not a substitute for the technical aspects of your craft in clinic training. The Art of PM covers in depth safe practice planning communications, policies and procedures so a book on the technical aspect of training would complement this book. This book can be used internationally with the regulation and laws section being developed on the links section of this website.
The Health Professional's Holistic Practice Management Plan Format tests the understanding and competency of the learner in risk management, as well as all areas of practice. It is recommended for use with both The Art of Practice Management for Alternative Health Care Practices (includes complementary and integrative practices) and your favorite text on technical aspects of risk management in your field or specialty–osteopathy, chiropractic, homeopathy, nursing, massage, etc.
Front Office Procedure: The Training and Reference Manual is the step by step daily operations of practice management from the time your patient walks into the clinic to when he walks out. The Acupuncture version is the only one available. However, it is applicable to other fields. There is a risk management section in this book. However, it is not as developed as in the Art of Practice Management for Alternative Health Care Practices, so it is recommended that the front office procedure book be used with the Art of PM book.
All are essential to provide the vehicle for tapping the wellspring of clear awareness–a vital aspect of healing energy– through ethics; practice management safe practice communications, policies, procedures and and planning; understanding the implementing the technical treatment aspects and and government compliance in risk management.
