AcuBase 2.003 databases includes 370 points, 275 herbs, 146 standard formulas. It organizes their indications, their classifications, Chinese characters, full-color pictures of the herbs, and more. While it comes complete with many of the most popular herbs, formulas, and points already entered, it has been designed to accommodate your techniques, your preferences, and your clinical experiences. The Superbills and HCFA 1500 forms are easy to fill out on the screen, and print beautifully. They include pop-up fields with modifiable diagnosis (ICD-9) and procedure (CPT) codes, as well as the ability to create superbills for related products (herbs, formulas, etc.). Patient records are easy to review, with summaries of activities and billing shown on a single screen. No more sifting through paper records to find patient-related medical or billing information!

Relational Design!
While looking at a given formula or patent formula, get information on a specific herb in that formula with a single click of the mouse! While looking at a given herb, a list of all standard and patent formulas in the database that contain that herb are also shown, most of which may be accessed with a single click. For each item in the database, whether standard herbs or formulas or patents, you can also see how much of that item you have in inventory, and/or add it to your inventory with a single click.
While looking at vendor information, all related herbs, formulas, patent formulas, and products in inventory from that vendor are also shown, and may be easily accessed. Access all patient-related data from one central patient file, whether it be calls, faxes, intakes, or Superbills. No more fruitless searches for related information!

User-specific Preferences:
From the Main Menu, you can specify :
- your own clinic information
- logos
- tax rates on products and procedures
- procedure codes
- printing preferences
- even currency symbols (dollars, pounds, yen, etc.)
In addition, every record, whether it be herbs, points, patent formulas, inventory, or patient information, may be edited, deleted, and otherwise modified to your heart's content. Search for

The new AcuBase Standard 2.003 has been designed with
an intuitive interface through every step of the design process. Every layout contains the same general template found throughout the rest of the database. This means that, if you understand the basic organization of the data in one area (such as herbs), then access to and manipulation of data in another area (such as patent formulas or even patient information) is simple. The adaptability of Chinese medicine has allowed it to bridge the contents and keep up with ever-changing times.
